SEDONA,
The Motion Picture
A new independent film called
Sedona will be produced by Sedona
filmmakers Tommy Stovall and Marc Sterling through their company Pasidg
Productions, Inc. The production will take place in – you
guessed it – Sedona.
Described as a “mystical
adventure”, the film is a fictional tale that follows outsiders as they
experience Sedona on life-changing journeys through the course of one day. The movie
will be feel-good, fun, and full of fascinating, quirky characters. It will showcase the spectacular scenery and charming
atmosphere Sedona is known for.
Besides being a labor of
love, Stovall and Sterling want this project to
bring major positive benefits to the City of Sedona.
Not only will the project boost the local economy during production, but
they intend it to have lasting residual effects after it’s released such as enticing
more film projects into Sedona and promoting Sedona world-wide as a tourist
destination.
This project follows Stovall
and Sterling’s
first film, Hate Crime, which before
being released theatrically and then on DVD, was a hit on the film festival
circuit, winning 10 major awards including “Audience Choice” at the Sedona
International Film Festival.
Stovall wrote the
screenplay for Sedona and will direct
the film as well. Production will begin
as soon as financing is secured. For
