Sedona International Film Festival
The Sedona Film Office is part of a three pronged approach to building a successful film community. Sedona offers education at the Zaki Gordon Institute for Indepedent Filmmaking, production through the Sedona Film Office, and exhibition by the Sedona International Film Festival.
The Sedona International Film Festival has been a landmark to the Sedona art community for more than 15 years. More than just an annual film festival, SIFF offers year round screenings of independent film as well as special events throughout the year. It's Second Tuesday Cinema Series is the most regularly attended event in Sedona. In 2008, SIFF offered up 34 independent films in addition to the 135 films showcased during the annual festival in February.
Known for its "filmmaker-friendly" atmosphere, the Sedona International Film Festival hosts over 100 filmmakers each year and offers up a film saavy audience for Q & A's. SIFF's nearly 500 members can always be counted on to ask intelligent, insightful questions.
